Smoke and Mirrors. "You've got to be real"
Growing up regardless of who you are with a single parent, divorced parent or no parent. You become constantly bombarded with labels your parent or peers wanted to place on you for support, for love, for convenience, for whatever.
It was easier to say you are smart, you are special, you are gifted, or you are who you are.
Some of us are born into tribes, Jewish, Spanish, Black, Asian and caucasian. As an American, European, Mexican,Asian, or possibly a refugee without a home.
My relations to status are many. Rich, poor, affluent, and middle class.
We hear as a member of the Jewish tribe the labels of cheap, hoarders, business mentors, successful and different from others.
As for my Asian friends, mathematician, cheap, combative, and poor tippers. etc!!!
From the beginning, it is not my intent to cause any upset to anyone. I am not stating this or these terms as my view. I write from my experience.
As a Jew, I am far from cheap and business savvy was how I was raised.
It has been dIfferent for me as a son from the Holocaust as a survivor trying to exist as we are only believing in one god.
As a child we learned that Jesus was Jewish and converted. Look what happened because he wanted change!
Huge!
Right?
In the end or middle or where ever you are now as a person, "You have got to be real."
It just simply takes courage to be the person you are inside!
We all or hopefully continue to dream of what we want to do or have or be and we end up hiding or having to hide in a world that is foreign to us.
From my own experience of being a gay man. Much less a Jewish gay man of having to constantly believe in myself enough or my own being that, I have to just be me.
There is nothing more poetic in being who you are without fear of anyone or anything.
At the end of all this what else is there, but "to be Real"?
Fear of wondering what people think!
You can dwell on that all day to the point you never leave the house, but then you never get to discover a few things.
No one cares!
No one understands! Or maybe just maybe you find one person or more that love you as you are.
Without judgement!
Without malice!
Without anything at all!
Free yourself of constraints!
Take the braces off your brain!
If you know longer try to live up to other expectations of who you are as a real person. Then, "You are Free".
There is no time table or schedule in life as to when you discover the truth in power to yourself.
It's really simple. "If you want it, then you will have it".
As a mentor for some of the ones that believe in me, or support me or just plainly love me as I am.
For them and most important for myself. "I have got to be real".
They look to me for the answers!
For the motivation!
For the Inspiration!
As an Intuitive Mentor, the answers flow as fast as I can speak them.
Or in this case as I write them.
Truth in power!
The universe is always pushing its message thru this faithful conduit. I have always wanted to "Be Real".
Those of us that know who we are read these words as affirmation.
The others read this as power in belief in oneself.
I know who I am. Do you?
Don't get bogged down in trying analyze yourself. Whatever level you are , there is always more.
That's the beauty of living. There is always more!
Be an Artist!
Be a Mentor!
Be an actor!
Be a star!
The choice is yours. But thru it all, "You have got to be real".

Want to share a great performance of one of the first talents that I came in contact with when I started out as Make up and Hair for the music industry.
It was a great start.
This performance was at a tribute to David Foster. "David and friends".
David had great influence on so many segments thru and with my life from the words and music he wrote. Look him up. That is a segment featuring "Donna Summer".
This was a show I attended.!
Live always as much as you can in the moment. Then you don't have to think about it. "You have got to be Real".
