Merry Christmas everyone. I want to say it every day The official start for the season has begun. Lets get into the spirit and set the tone....
We need a little Christmas right this very minute.
A sense of the holidays with the announcements after Thanksgiving.
More than ever we need a jump start into Christmas. All of the joy and wonderment of the season.
It is no secret that it is and always has been a favorite for this writer.
It becomes a mad rush to throw up a string of lights and pop a bow on it where ever I can find a spot.
Sometimes my obsession is always tested when I come across any display even remotely a part of the holidays as I look over every inch and decide amazing or disappointing. But then I want to throw bows and light everywhere. My poor cat!!!
If you even know me a small bit, you will hear me talk about decorations or some trip plan to see decorations in other cities here in the States, Canada and all over Europe.
The largest reason for myself and others is the chance for one day or over the course of the season to be nice to everyone. To give from the heart without expected return other than Thank You. Just look at their eyes as they open the gift because an expected "Thank you" sometimes never happens.
The joy is the giving not the getting.... Remember that!
I like to buy gifts for people all during the year and not push all that expense into one single day. I also make agreements with those closest to me that after the holidays everything is or can be found at 70% off and the reward is they will get twice as much etc... Seriously as if I need an excuse to buy things for people. I just plain love it. It is just who I am.
A holdover and lesson taught by my Mom that if you are busy giving, you have no time for sadness. She is correct. The money always comes.
Money and me are great friends.
Sometimes it teaches me a lesson but always rewards me when I understand.
Merry Christmas>>.. Please let go of the sadness, of the drama that stop you from seeing the magic that is every where. If you look for it, it appears.
Sounds ridiculous? Not for this Angel....So far the magic continues to find me.
It's amazing. But then that's another visit with Rand.
Another night of opportunities.
Another night of light giving.
