From One Angel to Another

As I was wallking, there was a feeling of hopelessness, of extreme anxiety. "How was I going to do this"? I had made the decision to take care of my Mom who had lost her husband, my father, and was basically withering away.

Mom had been diagnosed with Alzheimers. I was moving up the entertainment ladder and pursuing my own hope and dreams. To make a Movie!.

Life doesn't always fall together in boxed perfect lines.

I was moving my Mom to Hollywood so I could share the final years with her and be the proverbial good son.

I was in Westwood, outside of Beverly Hills walking and asking for help. I needed to find a job that was flexible so I could take of Mom and still create my own dreams. It was crowded as I walked to the street corner. I turned around because I felt a presence and there was this lady street bum. It was as if there was no one else around me when I saw her. This lady looked me straight in the eye and said. "It will all be Ok".

I thought "who was this"? and looked away for a second and looked back. She was gone. I had this sense of peace and confidence. I looked and looked and could not find this person. This lady was gone!

I started across the street and saw some ladies I had worked with for a Kids Cartoon channel. They waived and I jolted across. I told them what I was up to with Mom and there was immediate work for me with them.

As I went thru the day and went over and over again in my mind about the lady appearing in the crowd. I knew in my heart that it was an Angel. It would become one of many instances for me and because I believed, they appear more and more.

An angel from my own experiences don't have to be all so mysterious. Its the person that gives you the nudge to carry on living in a simple statement. The friend that appears from no where to help you when you are in a tough spot. The family that adopts you just because you are you.

My point for this weeks blog is to believe in the Angels. the miracles, the moments in the universe that give you that spark, that energy, that movement.

Chelsea Banton :

14 year-old Chelsea Banton was suffering from multiple development disabilities and has been in and out of the hospital countless times. As pneumonia was taking over her life, her mother had to make an unthinkable decision. She asked her doctor to pull the plug on Chelsea’s life machine to end her years of pain and suffering. As she was praying by her side, the doctor pulled the plug. Remarkably, hours after the plug was pulled, Chelsea remained alive. The nurse at the station glanced at the monitor and noticed a man standing at her door. Thinking it was odd, she went out to see what he wanted but he was no where in sight. She went back to the monitor and saw him again. She was so confused by this, so she called over other hospital staff and they confirmed they saw the same thing. So amazed by what they had seen, they indisputably agree that what they saw was an angel that saved Chelsea’s life.

The veil between the dimensions of heaven and earth exists for a reason. Angels will appear in physical form (usually as humans) if they need to interact with you in a practical way to accomplish a clear objective (push your car out of a snowdrift when you’re stuck on an isolated road, or pay your grocery bill when you discover that you’re short on money in line). Angels will also appear in physical form (sometimes with wings) if they feel that being seen by you will increase your faith or peace of mind.

Angels who appear as humans usually disappear just as quickly as they arrive, and often without a trace. You might return to a restaurant where a kind waiter helped you settle your screaming toddler down a few days before, only to be told by the manager that there is no waiter working at this restaurant who fits that description. Or you might go to thank the woman who just rescued your husband from drowning, but when you turn around you see there is no sign of this stranger on the beach—not even a single footprint in the sand walking away. Angels who appear as humans often have very kind eyes and a peaceful, calming energy. They are remarkably helpful, and usually don't say much though what they do say is very poignant.

So from one Angel to another!

The more you look for them, the more miracles will appear.

Whether you are skeptical or not. It is a responsibility from the ones that know to share what we experience.

I want everyone to know that they can ask and the answers appear. More often than not better than imagined..
