If you have ever visited Paris and then you also get a chance to come to Montreal, you can not help but feel the passion of that city, the similarities and its beautiful people.
So amazing!!.
Over the years there have been those amazing visits for me that surpass them all. That was the day I met some of the performers for the Cirque du Soleil.
Inspired by their freedoms of expression through the body!
Making dance and performance art all combined with the aerial feats seeming so seamless, so perfect, so real.
Originally started as street perfomers Gilles and Guy. They grew in the 80'a and 90's, each time the performance more spectacular than the last one.
One of the great things about the Cirque is the stagehands are all performers which makes for seamless scene changes and movements.
Sadly the Ringling Bros Circus just recently closed their doors, but the Cirque is now the circus re-defined and re-imagined with no limits to the images they bring to the audiences.
Like the couture world in Paris, this group of awe inspiring performers are in a different world entirely.
Passionate about the art, the performance and the the human spirit.
Cirque starts this year with its vision of the Avatar. Toruk!!
Almost what you imagined in your mind as the book came to life on the screen and now closer in real life as you see the images come to life on the stage. Truly a love of art, this most recent addition is incredible.
Once again all about movement and taking the next step. The next step can be seamless, beautiful, full of energy and spectacular. This all started from two amazing men.
