My Paris Life
The first image that you see coming to the city, the iconic Eiffel tower. I have seen it lit up for New years ,for Europride, and the Centennial year they changed to Euro... it's is the romance and the heart of Paris. I have been proposed to, left at dinner, had fashion shoots, filmed for movies and had my iconic Mom beside me one year, For me Paris is the connection for art, fashion, design, writing, movies, love, tragedy, spiritual healing and my recharger for so many things. After the last visit to Paris right after the Isis scare, the idea to create this very blog became a strong and definite sense of purpose for me. As for writing, what we are always taught is you write what you know. I definitely know Paris!! I will wanted to use this post as a continuing segment for inspiring blogs for fashion, spirituality, love, art, creating and sharing my light. I can't not do this alone, so please send me your stories and pics of life experiences and the amazing times you have had when you have come to this electric town. I am an American in Paris.
So let me share mine.....
Every since I was in my early 20's and had the amazing experience of traveling with a major talent doing hair and make up(one of my most glamorous careers), I came to Paris for the first time. It was love at first Louvre.
This was how I felt. Welcomed! Embraced and loved without condition. Of course it helped that I spoke French and that even got better as people would try to help me on some of those phrases that really should be there at the right moment. I know, you hear that the French are arrogant and rude, but imagine if you went to New York and you did not speak any English and you are asking for directions to Time Square in the middle of rush hour. Not pretty!! Right! You have to try to speak the language. The French have always loved me and I have loved them back.... So Vive La France... Vive Live- Live-Live.... So lets move forward. The world is ours. Cheers!
